Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Primer provides a sound base for application of Stops Rust enamels on heavily rusted steel. Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Rusty Metal Primer stops rust and prevents corrosion. The use of the primer promotes topcoat adhesion and helps prevent chipping, cracking and peeling. Using Stops Rust primer eliminates the need for multiple coats of enamel finish.
